The Bulldogs bats exploded Sunday afternoon at McCoy Field, as the team had 18 hits. Brookfield got to Sam Mulkey early and would score 10 runs on 11 hits against the righty in his 3 innings pitched. Bill Gorman led the way at the plate, going 4-for-4 with 3 doubles. Josh Lemke had 3 hits on the day. Greg Basthemer pitched a complete game for the win and gave up just 1 earned run on 6 hits while striking out 8.
